Home Theater Setup with Front Projector Installation
We'll mount your front projector on the ceiling or on a table top using a mounting bracket you supply or purchase from us, connect it to your source components, and conceal the audio and video cables. We'll connect your new video components with neatly dressed, exposed wires, integrate up to seven new and existing components, and set up your surround sound system.
Home theater setup with front projector installation includes:
- Conduct a pre-installation site survey upon arrival at your home. Note: Additional charges for any required add-ons will be quoted by the installer prior to any work being done.
- Secure your customer-supplied (or factory-included if applicable) mounting bracket to a standard frame or masonry wall, or assemble optional support stand
- Install your new or existing front projector using only exposed wire connections on a stand you supply, or mount front projector on the ceiling, using a mount you supply or purchase from us
- Connect the front projector power cord to an existing AC power outlet (by surface mounting only)
- Attach and conceal cables from the front projector to nearby tuner, A/V source components or cable connection by routing up to 15 feet of cable in walls, under carpet, or behind base boards, in a standard frame home.
- Audio and video cables are included with installation (i.e. component, composite and RCA style cables) Note: HDMI, VGA, DVI and fiber optic cable are not included.
- Connect your newly purchased audio/video components in one room
- Integrate up to 5 newly purchased components with existing and working components (i.e. front projector, VCR, DVD, video game unit, A/V receiver, CD player, MP3 player, tape deck, and similar components)
- Set up speaker system to operate up to 7.1 surround sound system
- Calibrate new and existing home theater systems for optimal audio
- Verify that all speakers are properly positioned and working
- Drill access holes as needed for wiring within cabinets
- Ensure all wires and cables are neatly dressed
- Clean up work area and dispose empty boxes, packaging materials, and installation debris
- Demonstrate operation of your front projector and components
- Patch and texture drywall repair (if needed)
- A 1-year limited warranty on all labor included with professional installation services
- Approximate time: 5 -6 hrs.
Note: The construction methods and materials used in your home may impact our installers' ability to mount a front projector or speakers where you would like. Additional charges may apply for brick or concrete walls. In order to ensure that your desired installation is feasible and affordable, we recommend a free in-home consultation.
The following are not included with this installation service:
- Moving, alteration, or installation of any electrical outlets. Note: For an additional charge, we can provide a certified electrician to install an electrical outlet directly above your front projector to eliminate any visible power cords.
- Speaker mounting on-wall or in-wall
- Programming of universal-type learning remote
- Additional holes drilled, wires hidden within walls, or any type of custom in-wall wiring (beyond the concealed wiring between front projector and nearby source components, described in detail above)
