We'll mount five speakers in-wall, on-wall or in-ceiling using brackets you provide or purchase from us, connect the mounted speakers to your receiver using concealed high-quality speaker wires, set up and connect the rest of your surround sound system and components.
Home theater setup and 5.1 speaker installation includes:
- Conduct a pre-installation site survey upon arrival at your home
Note: Additional charges for any required add-ons will be quoted by the installer prior to any work being done. - Mount five speaker(s) on-wall, in-wall, or in-ceiling, either in-home or outside, using customer-supplied speaker mounts
- Connect mounted speakers to home theater receiver by routing up to 15 feet of high-quality wire (included) per speaker within standard frame wall, ceiling, or underneath moldings
- Setup other speakers (if applicable), receiver and/or subwoofer in one room for up to a 7.1-channel surround sound system
- Verify that all speakers are properly positioned and working
- Calibrate new and existing home theater system for optimal audio
- Connect and integrate up to seven non-networked audio/video components (or components already connected to an existing network)
- Drill access holes as needed for wiring within cabinets
- Ensure that all wall-fished cable exit points are finished off with either a wall bushing or specialized wall plate (patch and texture included in necessary)
- Ensure that all exposed wires and cables are neatly dressed
- Clean up work area and dispose empty boxes, packaging materials, and installation debris
- Demonstrate operation of your new home theater
- Patch and texture if necessary
- Approximate time: 3 to 4 hrs
Note: The construction methods and materials used in your home may impact our installers' ability to mount a TV or speakers where you would like. Additional charges may apply for brick or concrete walls. In order to ensure that your desired installation is feasible and affordable, we recommend a free in-home consultation.
